Sparkling wine corks present a challenge for brands that require an attractive finish and the ability to withstand high pressure. The need for consistency in insertion and extraction must also be considered.
The body of our sparkling wine corks is made of micro-agglomerate cork. Two discs of solid natural cork are placed on the bottom, where the cork meets the wine. Only FDA-approved food-grade glues are used in the process, with the agglomerate body meeting stringent visual and mechanical requirements.
