Croxsons recognised in London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report

Leading glass packaging firm, Croxsons, has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange Group‘s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses across the UK.

To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers. More detail on the methodology can be found in the report online at www.1000companies.com.

The Surrey based family-business has been supplying a broad base of clients ranging from the smallest start-ups, to the largest multi-national, with glass packaging, closures and other packaging, to food and drinks companies around the world for over 145 years. Their faultless commitment to quality continues to provide leading brands with unique packaging solutions. Their ‘customer journey’ – from Collaboration, Design and Container, to Closures, Decoration and Logistics – seeks to ensure that clients get their product in the right bottle, with the right closure.

Tim Croxson, Croxsons’ Chief Operating Officer, said: “We are delighted to be included in this report, which is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team here at Croxsons. We are very proud of our heritage and remain fully committed to supplying our customers with innovative and stand-out packaging solutions. Our upmost aim is to reduce the amount of headaches that our customers experience through excellent quality, over-and-above service.”

As Croxsons does not manufacture the products it sells, it seeks to maintain a diverse strategic supply chain, which allows it to offer a wider range of products from multiple partners.

“Offering a range of industry standards means a reduced risk from customer concentration and provides flexibility in being able to respond to an ever-changing and growing market,” said Tim. “The growth in the popularity of craft products for example, with consumers moving away from mass-market brands, has been a big opportunity that we have been able to take advantage of. Consumers are concentrating their spend on better quality products and brands that are more aspirational. We have been able to supply into this significant sector,” he added.

Nikhil Rathi, CEO, London Stock Exchange Plc, said: “We warmly congratulate all of the companies identified in this year’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report. Five years on, the report continues to demonstrate the strength and diversity of British businesses across the country. These dynamic companies are the backbone of our economy, playing an important role in the UK’s ability to innovate, export and grow. This report is a significant part of London Stock Exchange Group’s broader campaign to support UK high growth companies. We are committed to championing British businesses and Britain’s dynamic entrepreneurial spirit.”
