The team at Croxsons are sad to announce the passing of their long term friend and employee, David Flower, aged 66.
David graduated from Nottingham University, with an Economics Degree, and started his career straight away in the glass industry, working for successive glass manufacturers, including spending some time working in Europe. David joined Croxsons 15 years ago, and was quickly embraced by the team and customers, many of which became friends over the years.
Our CEO, Tim, and Sales Director, Paul, were humbled to be in attendance at both David’s funeral and wake, accompanied by several long-term customers and friends from the industry. David’s last year was spent battling cancer, and he did it with grit and determination, but still every conversation was punctuated by David wanting to know about the industry and pricing.
Croxsons will be making a donation to Ashgate Hospice, where the staff were so supportive and loving towards David in his last year. If anyone wishes to do the same, please get in touch with Tim Croxson.
David will be missed by all at Croxsons, and our love, thoughts and prayers go to Gayle, David’s wife, their children and families.
