Our CEO, Tim Croxson, recently spent an enjoyable evening along with other entrepreneurs, young executives and innovators, at the Surrey ’40 Under 40’ Business Awards, a new initiative designed to recognise the next generation of young, talented business leaders under the age of 40 living and working in Surrey. Tim didn’t leave the event empty handed either, having been nominated and then included in the ’40 Under 40’ list, judged by a world-class panel of innovators and leaders from across Surrey, he was presented with one of the awards.
The awards are organised by Invest in Surrey, an investment service established to promote the county as a world-class place to start, grow and relocate a business. Invest in Surrey aims to bring together world-class industries, academia, and government partners to support business and growth across the region.
“Clearly this was out of the blue and unexpected, but I am delighted and humbled to be a recipient of a 40 under 40 business award,” said Tim. “I feel very fortunate to be living and working in a unique area bustling with talented entrepreneurs and young professionals. It’s a state of play very much reflected in our own high performance team who I work alongside and have the privilege to lead.
“Congratulations to the other award winners, especially Sophie Best from Silent Pool Distillers, with whom we have a special and unique relationship. Well done Sophie.”
