Our annual golf event took place on 6th June at the idyllic London Golf Club, Sevenoaks – a highly regarded international grade 36-hole course, located south east of the city.
On a beautiful sunny day, we had six teams participating in teams of four – a mix of clients, supply chain partners and the usual clan of Croxsons willing and able golfers.
The competition was run on a Stableford scoring system (the objective in Stableford being to have the highest score – unlike traditional scoring methods) and there was a good selection of fun competitions, longest driver, nearest the pin etc., adding to the enjoyment of the day.
“With the weather being much better than last year, we were playing in near perfect conditions and on such a beautiful course – a venue that we were still raving about long after we came off! It’s also incredibly valuable to have time with clients away from the office, with a golf course environment providing a great opportunity to get to know people better. Altogether an excellent day all round,” said Tim Croxson.
