Queen’s Award reception at Buckingham Palace

On Tue 11th June, both James and Tim Croxson had the honour of representing Croxsons at an evening reception at Buckingham Palace for winners of the 2019 Queen’s Award.

In winning the award for international trade, Croxsons was one of over 200 businesses that have been recognised with the awards this year, with 151 firms being SMEs. The award for the category of international trade was given to 129 companies who could demonstrate a substantial and sustained increase in export earnings over six consecutive 12-month periods.

At the reception, Prince Charles hosted the event, along with other members of the Royal Family in attendance. The reception provided a great opportunity to meet the other award recipients and form new business connections.

Following the event, both James and Tim commented: “We were extremely honoured to be invited to such a prestigious event and have our business success recognised in this way. Buckingham Palace is truly amazing and a very fitting location to celebrate winning the country’s highest business accolade. It was an excellent day and we can feel enormously proud of the business and our hard-working team going forward.”

All winners are able to display the Queen’s Awards’ emblem for five years.
