Adnams Case Study 1

When Adnams Brewery, in Suffolk, England, launched their Copper House Distillery, they knew that standing out in a crowded market place was key.

Croxsons presented a new innovation in capsule printing which allows bespoke designs to be printed from as little as 5,000 units. Adnams were the first distillery to take advantage of this branding opportunity, and utilised the capsules to provide continuity in design from the cartons used, allowing the labels to be sympathetic to the clean and elegant design of the premium bottles and branding.

There is also an environmental benefit to using digitally printed capsules. As small runs are possible, clients are able to produce bespoke capsules to fit a production run. Furthermore, as this technology uses a digital print process, unique to Croxsons, there is no wastage in ink in setup and at the end of the print run.

Croxsons boast that with the digitally printed capsules, the only limit to the design is the creativity of the mind. The detail in the capsules produced for Adnams shows just a little of what is possible.

The digital print process is available for both PVC and Polylaminate capsules.
