139 years ago, a man called William Croxson went to work, visiting bars and clubs, collecting used glass bottles on a horse and cart. He would clean them and then deliver them back to the breweries and wine merchants throughout London. You might say that he was at the forefront of being environmentally concerned.

William founded Croxsons, and it still bears his name. It has passed through four generations, but it is during these past 40 years, overseen by James Croxson, our current Chairman, that the most significant change has occurred. Croxsons has evolved into an international glass packaging and closure solutions company.
