Croxsons was established by William Croxson, the great-grandfather of the current Chairman, James. The company was created to wash bottles for the many breweries in and around London. At that time the company was also a wholesaler for fine wines.
Under the leadership of the fourth generation Croxson, James, the company has developed into an international packaging supplier with a professional but friendly approach. The realisation that the company could buy and sell glass containers to its many customers rather than just collecting, washing and returning bottles helped drive the company forward and turn it into the multi-million pound company that has dominated the independent glass container industry for the past 2 decades.
There will be a graphical history and a timeline coming soon showing all the different generations and major events in the company history. |
